Grounds Maintenance Staff / Groundskeeper

Tofield Golf Course and Campground is looking for an individual with experience around and with equipment, experience working on a golf course and with knowledge of golf is preferred. This could be an excellent opportunity for those who are looking for seasonal work during the summer.

 

There is a fully serviced campground onsite that can be used by a successful candidate (for minimal cost) if desired.

 

Tasks:

Routinely maintain/oversee the maintenance of the golf course

• Cut fairways, greens, tee box’s

• Operate various pieces of equipment (renothin, aerator)

• Clean and maintain equipment 

• Monitor and repair irrigation as needed

• Help clubhouse staff when needed

 

Skills and Abilities:

• Self starter

• Motivated

• Mechanically inclined 

• Good communicator

• Good judgement 

• Golf knowledge huge asset

 

Salary/Wage:

• $18-$30/hour depending on experience, access to golf course when not working.

• 25 to 40 hours per week depending on time of year and weather
